I was determined to get back to a healthier size...and I did!

At age 58, I hit a number on the scale that broke me 220. I remember standing there, staring at it, feeling defeated.
No matter what I did, the scale just wouldn’t budge
Simple tasks, like picking up the kids from school or running errands, left me out of breath and needing to sit down before I could even start dinner.
My knees ached from just walking around the house, and by the end of the day, my lower back felt like it was on fire.
And if you told me I'd be running around in size 8 clothes weighing 142 in just 4 months, I wouldn't have believed you. But yesterday, I did just that.
you see, I spent years doing everything they say you’re supposed to do, cutting carbs, avoiding sugar, trying every diet under the sun. I did keto until I dreamed about bread,
and don’t even get me started on those lemon drinks, i drank enough lemon water to cleanse a whole town.
But nothing was working I thought, Maybe at 58, this is just how life is going to be.
My doctor warned me that my blood pressure was climbing,
my joints were under strain, and if I didn’t do something soon, my health would be in grave danger.
I was scared. Scared of what the future would look like. Scared of missing out on memories with my family .
It wasn’t just about me.
For years, my weight kept me from enjoying moments with my family. I sat on the sidelines at my grand daughter's birthday,
